2009 - A big year!

This year is going to be a a big one for my family. My twin sisters are both getting married ! One in June and the other in October. It's bittersweet...I am so happy for them but they are 6 years younger than me and I always thought i'd have a few little kids running around at their weddings. I'm hoping that i'll at least be preggers by October- possibly 8 mths if all goes well next week! I might need a massive bridesmaids dress :-)

I'm going to be a bridesmaid for both of them. For the June wedding we'll be wearing this lovely dress -

I could be 5 months pregnant so hopefully it will fit - we are going to wait until after this IVF before we order them. If I have a BFP i'll order a bigger size and then get it adjusted if needed. It's hard planning for something that might be or might not be.....

I've been having trouble uploading the cheesecake pics. I can upload them but then it's really difficult to get them in the right place between the text and I also can't figure out how to turn them - some of them are sideways when uploaded to blogger. Any suggestions?

Day 7 of Stims

I went for my Day 6 bloodtest yesterday - got poked and prodded again!! The nurse told me I have very fine veins and they keep collapsing. I have had this problem in the past but never during IVF - until now! I know it's not a big deal though...I just feel like complaining again :-) Tomorrow when I go again i'm going to drink 1L of water beforehand.....maybe it will help.

The last few days my ovaries have been aching! I had stabbing pains on the left side. Feeling uncomfy and bloated. Mentioned it to the nurse and she didn't seem concerned. I see the doctor tomorrow for the scan - I hope the follies are doing well!!!

I bought some stretchy waistband pants yesterday in preparation for next week. Last cycle I walked around with my pants unbuttoned for a week - with a rubber band to hold them together. ha! I'm more prepared this time!

5 days to egg retrieval!!

I haven't been doing very well with ICLW. I've had a rough last few days but will definitely be catching up on all the missed commenting. Thanks again for visiting me and I will be visiting you ALL soon.

Hope your cycles are all going well!!!! My thoughts are will you all!!! :-)

I hate how we have to plan around our "suspected pregnancies". It's been the same for me. I want to plan a trip this year, but I'm worried about planning it too late b/c I dont want to travel while pregnant. That effectively allows me to plan a trip in the next two or three months (since I have 1 more month of BCPs). I would ideally love to travel in the fall, but want to be uber preggo by then. I better be uber preggo by then!!!

I love your bridesmaid dress. And it seems as though there is plenty of room in the front of the dress to expand into it.
It's good to hear that your IVF cycle is progressing well.

I love, love, love, the dress. And it's definitely do-able for a pregnant woman. You'll look great!

Sorry you belly is so bloated. Ick. Good job on being prepared and getting the stretchy pants:)

I absoultely love the dress too. Will it be in that same color? It is really beautiful. And with the empire waist it will be a breeze if you are pregnant. Oops, I mean when you are!! :0) I am wishing you much success with this cycle.
