update

Yesterday beta went up to 1658 (good)

progesterone went up to 32.5 (a bit better)

Bleeding and bad cramping has continued. I have all the symptoms of a miscarriage and passed some tissue last night. I still have hope but in my heart i'm also thinking it's over-this is what everything on Dr google seems to suggest. Bleeding in early pregnancy seems to be ok but the severe cramping is not a good sign at all. The 5 days of cramps has been the hardest part, but DrC said I can take panadeine for the pain. I was a bit worried about taking anything but it got to the point where I had to. Now I have to wait until Friday for another bloodtest. The clinic said to call if there was any changes, so i'll see how today goes.

I'm doing ok, well at the moment anyway :-) I have shed lots of tears shed but also know it's out of my control. I'm trying to remain positive but at the same time be realistic...On the positive side I felt pregnant for about a day, that's more than I ever had before.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! You are in my thoughts and prayers too!

beta update

yesterday I had a second beta - good news is that it is now 800 and something. Which is a good number. But my progesterone is still low- was 20 and now is 18, and the bleeding and cramps continues. I'm so thankful for a rising beta but it's still a waiting game. Next Beta is Tuesday.

Thanks for your words of support. I haven't been very a very good commenter lately but will catch up soon. The clinic told me to take tomorrow off work and rest, so I can catch up then :) My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Hope you are all having a good weekends!

what happening?

Thanks for all your comments! Sadly instead of feeling happy and hopeful, right now i'm terrified that this pregnancy might be over. For the last few days i've had brownish pink spotting but last night it got worse. I woke up with the most painful cramps and have had bad cramps ever since and brighter red bleeding. I called the clinic and they said to come in tomorrow morning for another beta. Apparently my progesterone was quite low on Wednesday and that's why they upped my dose. I don't know what's happening. I'm scared and thinking the worse. I know that lots of people bleed in their early pregnancy but i'm in so pain, much worse that when I get AF.

At the moment i'm going out of my mind not knowing - at least tomorrow i'll know where we stand with it all.

What a positive day!

This time I did not POAS at all - I waited until today for my Beta. I wanted to write a nice long post about my day, but i'm not much of a writer, so will just get straight to the point :-)

Great news - I'm PREGNANT!!!! :-) :-) Beta was good and then I came home from work this afternoon and POAS just for fun!

My HCG is over 100 - I can't remember if it was 116 or 160 - I was in a bit of a daze at the time and standing in a toilet stall at work. I had to sneak off for a toilet break so that I could call the clinic, as I can't take calls during my shift.

I will call back tomorrow and go over the details again. The nurse said they were good numbers.

Now for the worrying part....I have had some brownish, pinkish bleeding/spotting. I had some yesterday that went away but then it came back again late this afternoon. I'm not sure what it means - I hope it's from implantation.

I go back in 1 week for Beta #2. How will I wait that long? I'll be peeing on lots of sticks!

Thanks for all the comments - they really helped me get through this week!

I'm still in shock it doesn't seem real yet...

FET update and acupuncturist question?

Well June is now over and my goal of been a better blogger in June was a dismal failure...oh well moving on...

Not much has been happening except work, work and work. Next month my hours are being cut so I'm grateful for the work while I can get it and it's also been keeping my mind busy and the anxiety away. I've also been acupuncturist shopping. After seeing 4 (i'm terribly indecisive) I finally found one(D) that I love but unfortunately she also cost the most. I'm sticking with her for this cycle and then might look for another one that my health insurance will pay out more for. I was surprised how different they all were.

Acupuncturists A,B made me stay fully clothed, didn't use many needles and only treated the front of my body and also hardly spent any time with me - a couple minutes putting in needles and then disappearing.
C seemed really knowledgeable ,was covered mostly by insurance, but he made a crude comment about IVF being like having s.ex in front of strangers, he thought he was funny and I think was trying to be sympathetic. I just thought he was an ass. I said it was not at all like that and he had the nerve to disagree with me! Thankfully he stuck me with a few needles and then his assistant did the rest. So no surprises that I'm not going back there.

At D I remove my outer clothes and then I cover up with blankets and towels. I find it more comfortable and relaxing than lying there in my jeans. Also she treats both sides of the body with needles(half hour for each) and burns moxa above the skin. She does a little shiatsu massage at the end which is sooo good. I'm going to her for a 30 min session before my transfer and 30 minutes after. Some of the others said I had to go the day before instead of on the day.

How does your acupuncturist treat you? I would love to read about your experiences...

Today is day 19 of my FET cycle and my little embies will be transfered in 2 days (mon). I'm bit scared to be too hopeful but also starting to feel pangs of excitement now that's it is getting closer.

Once again my FS is on holidays so sadly another Doc will be doing the procedure.I saw him for the scan and he seems ok.

Hope you have a great weekend!

The last month in dot points

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You for all the comments on my last post. The last negative result hit me hard and your support really helped...

After a little bloggin break I am back and hoping AF comes soon so I can start my FET. I think I am having a longer than normal cycle. I estimate that AF will arrive in 12 days. I hate waiting!!! :-)

Over the last month I have...

  1. Become a lurker. I have been struggling to keep up with all the blogs I follow and as a result have done no commenting but lots of lurking. Sorry for my neglect....
  2. Hit the 1 full year of IVF mark
  3. Started going to acupuncture for the first time - I hope hope hope it helps!!
  4. Decided to put 2 embryos back next time
  5. Due to number 4, I have been obsessively reading 'multiples' sites and blogs (counting my chickens before they hatch.ha!)
  6. Waiting for AF to start so we can get the FET show on the road...still waiting...
  7. Started a new job
  8. Bought a house
  9. My sisters June wedding was cancelled - they broke up :-(
  10. My neighbours (who we share a wall with) bought Karaoke! They are driving me nuts! aggghhhh! Right now they have Pink cranked up really loud! So glad we are mooooving!!!

There have been many BFP's in the last month that I have not yet commented on - Congratulations to you all!!! I will be stopping by soon to read how it's all going.

Today I rearranged my bloglist and was amazed that 17 ladies have had BFP's since I started following them! It gives me hope....

My plans for June -To be a BETTER blogger!!!
