Oh my goodness, I can't believe how long it has been since my last post! I'm so sorry I have been away from  the blogosphere for so long! The last month has gone by in a blur.

Everything with the baby is going well so far - today is 12w2days.

Today I made it public on Facebook...wasn't sure whether to do it as I have cried many tears over reading friends announcements in the past. In the end I thought it was the easiest way to let people know. For some reason I have found it hard telling people - I think i'm still scared that It might not be real.

The last few days I have been feeling so much better physically. I have loved all the pregnancy symptoms (maybe loved isn't quiet the right word) but the complete lack of energy in the last fews weeks was starting to get hard to deal with.  I have been totally obsessing over my symptoms or lack of on some days. Nausea, tiredness, food aversions, cravings and sore bb's have all been my constant friends lovingly reminding me that i'm pregnant ...

Hope you had a Happy Christmas!

Will update again soon with some pics from our holiday to a beautiful island...

Wonderful  news, we had our 7week ultrasound and saw one beautiful  heartbeat. Everything is measuring perfectly. Will post more later - at the moment it is still sinking in :-)  I am both overjoyed and cautious...

The waiting continues...*updated

So here I sit waiting for the phone to ring again with my beta #3 numbers. I hope they call soon!

I am now 5 weeks 2 days Pregnant. I find it hard to believe.  If today's numbers are good then I have to book an ultrasound for 7 weeks. I thought it would be sooner than that? They want me to wait until a heart beat can be detected. I'm so excited but never been more nervous in my life.

I really have to find some way to busy myself so the time goes faster. I lost 1/2 of my job- I work for 2 departments and the 1 department told me I won't be getting any more hours. All my hours for this week have been cancelled. It feels like all the doors are closing work wise - I hope that this pregnancy is a door opening for me!

Woohoo!!!!

Call me - updated

Call me PLEASE!!!! I've been waiting by the phone nervously for the last hour. I thought the clinic would of called with my Beta #2 results ages ago! I can't focus on anything else - there is a pile of laudry to do and lots of other house work but all I can do is sit around and wait - and surf the net :-)

I have weird pains - kinda like cramping but also kinda not. Hope hope they are pregnancy related or just gas :-)

Should I just call them - maybe they forgot me. Maybe they leave the bad news until last or maybe they leave the good news till last. My RE Does egg retrievals on Tuesdays - so today would be 15dpo for many ladies in the clinic. So maybe the nurses just have lots of people to call today....

Updated

They just called
Beta #2  is 1718  at 19dpo
Progesterone 78.5

Now I can breathe again :-)

The DH story

Here's the story of how I told DH (after not being able to see or speak to him for 3 days while he was away). He got back from his camping trip on Sunday afternoon- I spoke to him as soon as he was back in phone range but he had others in the car, so the whole POAS thing wasn't able to be brought up. He had to drop the car back at a friends house, so I picked him up from there on the way to night church .

Anyway after we left the friends house in the car, he looks over and asks me if I POAS. I didn't just want to just come out and say yes, since I had plans to present him with the positive HPT's. So i'm like 'um nooo..'. (while trying to supress a big smile). He didn't quite belive me - and he knows somethings up. So I said 'ok just pull over'. Once we stopped on the side of the road I presented him with a Tupperware lunch box. I'm like ' I made you something' (this was supposed to add to the element of suprise). He opened it and it was full of my postive tests. He cried. :-) It was a wonderful moment.I had planned to give them to him as soon as I saw him (before he had a chance to ask me) - but I couldn't at the friends house, couldn't do it in the driveway either as there were people standing there and I also couldn't give them to him while he was driving. I really wanted to give him something that said 'daddy'- maybe a card or onesie. But decided that after our early miscarriage it may be too emotional if something went wrong- we are being a little guarded emotionally until the pregnancy is a bit more certain. Plus I ran out of time to go shopping ;-) I was much to busy peeing on sticks and frantically googling HPT pictures and info ! I'll keep those great ideas for when we have the 3rd beta next week or after the ultrasound. Don't get me wrong we are over the moon! But i've been around in blogland long enough to know a positive test doesn't always mean a baby. That being said, our faith remains strong and we continue to trust in the Lord in all things - no matter what!

Second Beta is tomorrow!!

Beta 16dpo (10dp6dt)

beta 351
Progesterone 80.2

Very happy with these numbers!

My clinic usually waits a week to do another test - but they are letting me go back on Wed. There is no way I could wait a whole week.

I am feeling happy, anxious and scared all at the same time.

Yay it's  darker! My photo taking skills have also improved. I just realised how blurry the last one is - probably because I was shaking so much :-) So how should I break it to my hubby when he gets home tomorrow?
